LATEST: Berbatov At Old Trafford To Sign

A beaming Dimitar Berbatov has been pictured by the press at Old Trafford and is understood to be on the verge of signing for United - the deal may, in fact, already be done.
We wait with bated breath to discover the latest developments in this crazy - possibly the craziest ever - deadline day.
The last communication from Spurs - earlier this afternoon - seemed to indicate that they had NOT given United permission to talk to the Bulgarian and had only formally accepted the bid lodged earlier in the day by Manchester City - believed to be up to £34 million.
In spite of this Berbatov flew into Manchester this afternoon and is understood to have been at United’s Carrington training ground, presumably for a medical. He is NOT understood to have met City manager Mark Hughes - desperately trying to spend his new-found millions.
It beggars belief to theorise that United have gone ahead and sanctioned these moves without the express permission of Tottenham.
There is clearly no love lost between Sir Alex Ferguson and Daniel Levy and little respect for that matter, but that the United manager and his chief exec would be idiotic enough to pursue the player on deadline day if they didn’t believe a deal would be ratified by Spurs, is frankly incredible.
More developments as we have them.

You post this then desperately try to dismiss it
The FACTS are:
Man City are the only club to have a bid accepted
Man City are the only club with permission to speak to Berbatov/give him a medical
Man Utd’s talking to Berbatov and giving him a medical is in breach of the rules
You are in denial because you are a Utd fan (and a hypocrite at that for complaining about Real Madrid/Ronaldo)
Bet you feel like a complete arse now Mr Angry comments….HAha: United!
